PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals (NHM) is a joint venture between Singapore Holding Pte, Ltd (NEWCREST) 82.5% and PT. Aneka Tambang (Persero) 17.5%. Contract of Work between Goverment of Indonesia and PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals was signed on 28 April 1997. The agreement was based on Predential Decree No. B 143/Pres/3/1997 dated 17 March 1997. The original Contract of Work area was 1.672.967ha. After 3 (three) relingquishment stages, current Contract of Work area is 29.622ha.
