PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals is a gold mining and exploration company, operating a COW on Halmahera Island, North Maluku. The company is a joint venture between Newcrest Mining Limited (82.5%) and PT Aneka Tambang (17.5%).

ORE TREATMENT MANAGER   

The Company has a position vacant in Ore Treatment Manager at Gosowong – North Halmahera working a 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster.  The Ore Treatment Manager reports to Deputy General Manager.  

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

-          Minimum 15 years experience on mineral processing/extractive metallurgy facility, preferable in gold processing plant.

-          Ensuring that a significant effort is devoted to monitoring health, work safety, loss control and housekeeping in the workplace and assist with the development     and implementation of processes and practices aimed at a healthy, accident free workplace.

-          Ensuring  monthly gold produced targets are achieved.

-          Managing process and metallurgical efficiencies of the process plant, develop reports to measure and track these efficiencies on an ongoing.

-          Ability to production forecasting, management reporting, manage improvement in margin cost control and or/reduction and/or improved production. 

Technical Accountabilities

-          Significant knowledge of conventional milling process operation.

-          Development, implementation and review of implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring adherence to environmental standards and commitments under the government regulations.

-          Maintain and improve metallurgical accounting system.

-          Significant knowledge of process control. 

Person Specifications

Metallurgical Degree desirable Post graduate qualifications, Teamwork oriented & Active written and spoken English and behavior consistent

 The successful candidate will possess the following qualification and experience:

NETWORK ENGINEER with following qualifications:

 1.       Have Bachelor degree in computer science, electro and telecommunications

2.       More than 4 years experience in Networking and system infrastructure

3.       In depth knowledge and experience in networking (LAN, WAN), wireless and optical

4.       In depth knowledge in Cisco devices (Layer2, layers3 switches, PIX) Cisco Certificate Network Associate (CCNA) - advantage

5.       Having good experience to design network infrastructure and also monitoring

6.       Having good experience on network security, network monitoring using MRTG or other tolls

7.       Have experience on using VMWare

8.       Have experience on using VoIP ( Experience in Avaya Implementation would be advantage )

9.       Good analytical skill

10.   Good understanding for base networking (TCP/IP), DNS, DHCP, Windows Server, ISA Firewall and other related to windows server

11.   Experience in IBM and Dell PC

DBA & Developer with the following qualifications: 

1.       Degree in Computer Science and have more than 3 years experience in the related job

2.       Having good experience on MS SQL 2000 and MS SQL 2005 ( Advance )

3.       Having good skill on programming ASP.NET ( Intermediate )

4.       Experience on using Crystal Reports ( Advance )

5.       Basic IT Hardware/Software Troubleshooting ( Advance )

6.       Good Analytical skills and conceptual skills in software application development ( Advance )
