The Social Performance Team and Regional Affairs (KS-UR) of PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals (NHM) organized an act of solidarity to support the families affected by the recent flooding in Popon Village, Kao District, North Halmahera Regency, North Maluku. The devastating flood disaster claimed the life of a young man, Valentino, leaving his family in grief. In response to this tragedy, the KS-UR team collected donations within their department, which were directly delivered to Valentino’s family on Sunday, March 23.

The assistance provided included essential items such as food and other necessities, aimed at alleviating some of the burdens faced by the affected families. This donation serves as a tangible manifestation of NHM’s commitment to supporting the local community, particularly during times of hardship.

Rustam Munawar, Head of the Public Relations Division at NHM, expressed his heartfelt sympathy for the tragedy that struck the victim’s family. Although the assistance may be modest, we hope it can provide them with some relief during this difficult time.”
