Embracing the Meaning of Sacrifice and Resurrection at the Gosowong Easter Celebration

The 2026 Good Friday and Easter celebrations at the Gosowong site were marked by solemnity and deep meaning, creating a reflective yet hopeful atmosphere for all employees in attendance. Both services, held at 6:30 p.m. WIT, drew participation from NHM employees across various departments.

The series of observances began with the Good Friday service on April 3, 2026, led by Rev. Jeffry Gandasuli. In his sermon, he emphasized that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is a profound expression of God’s boundless love for humanity. “Good Friday reminds us of the immense price paid for the redemption of sins, while calling us to reflect and redirect our lives toward a better path, one that honors His love,” said Rev. Jeffry.

The Easter Sunday service was led by Rev. Adriana M. Baura, S.Th., who delivered a message centered on the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the pinnacle of the Christian faith. She reminded the congregation that in every hardship, there is always a way forward, and that light will always triumph over darkness.

“His resurrection overcomes death and redeems us from sin. Let us carry this truth into our daily lives, so that we may live in victory,” Rev. Adriana concluded.

This year’s Easter celebration was more than a religious ceremony, it carried a profound message of hope, renewal, and new life for every employee present. The spirit of sacrifice and resurrection serves as a shared reminder to press forward together, strengthen solidarity, and embrace optimism as we face the future.
